    Description

1948 Cleveland Indians Team Signed Baseball with Tris Speaker. Returning to baseball in 1947, Tris Speaker took on a public relations role for the Cleveland Indians as a goodwill ambassador. Perhaps he brought some luck with him, as the team took home the pennant, as well as a World Series Championship, in 1948. This OAL (Harridge) baseball retains a creamy white color, and features Speaker (8/10) and Lou Boudreau (9/10) on the sweet spot. Other standouts among the eighteen signatures include Bob Feller (7/10), Bob Lemon (8/10) and Joe Gordon (9/10 - clubhouse). Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
