1947 Will Harridge Single Signed Baseball. The executives have always been a stumbling block for collectors building Hall of Fame collections--for some reason kids just seemed to find tape measure home runs more fascinating than contract disputes. But the sophisticated baseball historian knows that Harridge is a key figure in the ongoing development of the American League, and worthy of a spot beside Ruth and Cobb in any collection. Here he inscribes one of his own OAL baseballs to an autograph seeker, writing, Oct. 15, 1947, Best Wishes to Brian, A Good White Sox Fan, Will Harridge." His black fountain pen ink presents at an impressive 9/10, and the ball is clean and white. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
