1947 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball. In the second year of his reign as skipper of the St. Louis Cardinals Eddie Dyer looked to duplicate the success of his first campaign, which saw his Redbirds lift the World Series trophy. His 1947 team, represented here by an exceptional ONL (Frick) orb with 29 signatures, fell just short of that year's Fall Classic to the Brooklyn Dodgers. Several noteworthy highlights pepper the orb's surface, including Joe Medwick (twice), Marty Marion, Terry Moore, Stan Musial, Red Schoendienst, Dyer, Dick Sisler, Red Munger, Joe Garagiola and more. An exceptional memento for fans of the Cardinals. LOA from PSA/DNA.
