    Description

1947 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball from The Stan Musial Collection. A monumental season in Major League history, the first to reject the long and ugly tradition of racial segregation. The Cards would finish second to Jackie Robinson's Brooklyn Dodgers in the '47 pennant race. Twenty-nine autographs from the runners-up appear on this ONL (Frick) ball at an average strength of 8/10. Notables: Musial, Medwick, Schoendienst, Marion, Dyer, Garagiola, Moore, Dusak, Moore and more. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
Letter of provenance from the Musial family.
