Description

1947 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball.

More Information: 1947 proved to be the Yankees break-away season. Returning now from the war was the Clipper, that mighty engine of the Bronx. He, then, with an improving cast of offensive support and dominating mound work, resumed the glory of the franchise. The 1947 Yankees were good, but this was really the embryo of an emerging juggernaut. They nonetheless proceeded to claim the Junior Circuit's flag and marched through October with yet another world crown. Instrumental in this success were the 19 champions who placed their identities on this OAL (Harridge) baseball. Highlights include Joe DiMaggio, Larry Berra(rare early signature), Allie Reynolds, Frank Shea, Tom Henrich, Spud Chandler, Phil Rizzuto, Frank Crossetti, Joe Page, Bobby Brown, Charlie Keller, etc.  <IAuction LOA from James Spence Authentication.  Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.<Q
