1947 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. Arguably the most important team sphere in the hobby from a cultural standpoint, as it features the rookie signature of the brave Jackie Robinson, who made history on April 15th of the 1947 season by taking his position at Ebbets Field's first base. The barrier-busting hero is joined by twenty-four fellow National League Champs on this ONL (Frick) orb, notably fellow Hall of Famers Arky Vaughan and Pee Wee Reese, and stars Branca, Lavagetto, Gionfriddo, Furillo, Reiser, Sukeforth and more. Robinson's signature rates a conservative 6/10, while Vaughan and Reese are even stronger at 9/10. The balance of autographs range from 3/10 to 9/10, and the ball is attractively and evenly toned. Despite the fact that this ball comes from the estate of Dixie Walker, 6 signatures have been deemed clubhouse signatures including Walker himself. The remaining clubhouse signatures are Gene Hermanski, Bobby Bragan, Tommy Brown, Gil Hodges, and Carl Furillo. JSA Auction LOA.
