    Description

1947 Boston Red Sox Team Signed Baseball. Essentially the same team that came within an Enos Slaughter Mad Dash of breaking "The Curse" the season before, this BoSox clan used the boldest of blue ink to adorn this "Ted Williams Speed Ball" with its autographs. Twenty-eight autographs are here in total, with several adding brief notes like "Good Luck" or "Best Wishes Eddie." Notables include Williams, Cronin, Doerr, Dom DiMaggio, Vernon, Tebbets, Parnell, Pesky, Jones and more. A minor amount of ink "hazing" is to be noted, but our catalog imagery should properly illustrate that this is of minor concern. You certainly won't find darker ink on a sixty-year old ball. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
