Five team baseballs from the personal collection of utility infielder Pete Castiglione, whose archives likewise supply this auction with signed letters and contract. Each sphere is an Official National League model of the Frick or Giles administration, and (unless otherwise noted) averages twenty-two signatures. 1) 1947 game used ball from a September 21, 1947 doubleheader with secretarial signatures from Herman, Kiner. Ten signatures total. 2) 1948 high-grade team signed ball with Kiner, West. A magnificent example but entirely clubhouse. 3) 1948 team baseball with Kiner, Riddle. Average 8/10. 4) 1951 team baseball with Kiner, Koski. Average 5/10. 5) 1953 team baseball with Kiner, Garagiola, O'Brien. Average 3/10. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
