    Description

1946 Boston Red Sox Team Signed Baseball. The great Ted Williams sampled his only taste of October action this season, though the Bambino's Curse and Enos Slaughter's Mad Dash proved too much for the Sox to overcome. We prefer to see the glass as half full however, and celebrate this as the only A.L. Championship Red Sox team ball issued between 1918 and 1967. And it's a beauty. Thirty-one members have clocked in on this OAL (Harridge) ball, with Teddy Ballgame taking a sweet spot position and Cronin, Doerr, Pesky, Dom DiMaggio (twice), Hughson, Dobson, Wagner and the rest nearby. Signature quality rates a consistent 8/10 to 9/10, adding yet further appeal to a team ball that any Fenway fan will love. Ball itself is lightly and evenly toned. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
