1946 Boston Red Sox Team Signed Ball (25 Signatures) - American League Pennant Winning Season! Description Update 3/31/2017

The great Ted Williams sampled his only taste of October action this season, though the Bambino's Curse and Enos Slaughter's Mad Dash proved too much for the Sox to overcome. We prefer to see the glass as half full however, and celebrate this as the only A.L. Championship Red Sox team ball issued between 1918 and 1967. Twenty-five members have signed this OAL (Harridge) ball, with Williams and Ferris on the sweetspot. Other key notables include: Cronin (clubhouse), Higgins, D. DiMaggio, Pesky, and Doerr. Signatures are slightly faded with a stain near the sweet spot. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA
