    1946-47 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA EX-MT+ 6.5.
    A splendid example of the hobby's most fundamental building block, and its most reliable performer from an investment standpoint, this beautiful sphere and accompanying autograph is of 1946-47 vintage and the Bambino does not disappoint with his sweet spot application.

    We all know how strict are the grading criteria for the experts at PSA/DNA, so the straight 6/10 rating for the OAL (Harridge) baseball presented here, and the 7/10 black fountain pen ink autograph on its sweet spot, should be interpreted as a bold proclamation of quality. We've said it before but we'll say it again--every great baseball autograph collection begins with a quality Ruth single, and this particular model will fill that role ably. Prices begin to rise at a progressively steeper angle with each half-point added to the PSA/DNA rating, leaving those at the 6.5/10 level arguably the best value-to-cost option. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, EX-MT+ 6.5.
