    Description

1944 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball. In what was arguably the most exciting October in St. Louis history, the Cards met the crosstown Browns in the World Series of 1944, and denying them their only chance at a World Championship with a six-game victory. This tough team sphere from the height of America's involvement in the Second World War offers a roster of twenty-five, among them Musial, Martin, Brecheen, Wares, Lanier, Southworth, Cooper and more. Autograph quality averages 7/10, with none varying more than a point in either direction. ONL (Frick) ball is lightly and evenly toned. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
