    Description

1944 St. Louis Cardinals & St. Louis Browns Team Signed Baseballs. Chicago had it in 1906, and New York City several times, but the baseball fans of St. Louis finally had a Fall Classic all to themselves in 1944, as the Browns and the Cardinals battled in a six-game Series at Sportsman's Park. Twenty-five World Champion Cardinals assemble on the provided ONL (Frick) ball, with notables including Southworth, Musial, Wares, Marion, Cooper, Brecheen, Gonzalez and more. Autograph quality averages 8/10. The American League Champs appear on an OAL (Harridge) ball, the twenty-four autographs averaging 8.5/10. Notables include McQuinn, Stephens, Sewell, Gutteridge, Baker, Laabs and more. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
