Description

1944 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Signed Baseball with Honus Wagner. Despite a war effort that robbed Major League Baseball of many of its top names, the 1944 Pirates still retained some superstar talent in its dugout during WWII, as this ONL (Frick) ball would attest. Twenty-three black ink signatures decorate its surface, most notably the ageless buccaneer Honus Wagner, who shares a side panel and 8+/10 strength with Hall of Famer Al Lopez. The other panels are a few shades lighter, averaging 4/10 to 6/10, and include Frisch and Lloyd Waner. A smart and affordable way to bring some essential Cooperstown autographs into your collection. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication. Guide Value or Estimate: $600 - $800.
