    Description

1943 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The loss of Joe DiMaggio to the war effort couldn't slow down the mighty Yanks, who cruised to yet another World Championship in his absence this season. Twenty-seven victorious Bombers join forces on this "Official Pro League" ball, notably Dickey, McCarthy (clubhouse), Murphy, Gordon, Chandler, Sears, Stirnweiss, Keller and more. Condition ranges from 2/10 to 9/10, with the average in the 6/10 to 7/10 range, and only a few that drop significantly below. Not a perfect specimen, but War-era balls are tough to come by and this should be factored into one's decision to bid. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
