1943 Duke And Duchess of Windsor Signed Photograph From The Sam Snead Collection. Edward VII, famous for abdicating the British throne to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson, was a golf enthusiast his whole life. In the 1920's and 1930's he was a great pal of Walter Hagen and in the 1940's and 1950's he often visited Sam Snead at The Greenbrier. This original photo was taken at The Homestead resort on November 7, 1943 by Fred Jones (so noted on reverse) and measures 7 1/2 X 9 1/2. Jones captures the famous couple in wonderful repose, casually sitting on a stone bench. Underneath her image, the Duchess has boldly signed as "Wallis Windsor" and the Duke dated the photo 1943 and signed as "Edward." The fountain pen signatures are outstanding and a note on the reverse also says "For Sam Snead." Letter of provenance from Jack Snead. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
