1943 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. Despite the ranks of Major League Baseball having been thinned dramatically by the World War II draft, some tremendous Hall of Fame talent appears on this OAL (Harridge) ball. We assume the ball was signed at an exhibition game between the Bums and the Yankees, as the words "Yankee Stadium" are stamped amidst the twenty-seven autographs coating the surface. Most notable are former Pirates greats Paul Waner and Arky Vaughan, and fellow Hall of Famers Leo Durocher and Billy Herman, with stars like Owen, Barney, Galan, Campanis, Dressen and Dixie Walker nearby. The ball is a little dirty, quite likely from use in the Bronx, but the signatures remain impressively strong, with most notables rating 8/10 or better. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
