    Description

1943 Brooklyn Dodgers Partial Team Signed Baseball. Only the most educated baseball historians recall that Pirates great Paul Waner finished up his career at Ebbets Field and Yankee Stadium, and here we find proof of the former, as Big Poison appears among fifteen war-era Bums. Other notables include fellow Hall of Famers Durocher and Herman, as well as Bordagaray, Dressen, Walker and third strike-dropper Mickey Owen. All signatures appear in 9/10 black fountain pen ink, as does a "Brooklyn Baseball Club 1943" notation in an unknown hand. Official American Association sphere is lightly shellacked. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
