    Description

1941 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Twenty-nine signatures from the first Yankees team to vanquish the Brooklyn Dodgers in the World Series. Most notable, of course, is the great Joe DiMaggio, whose incredible fifty-six game hitting streak had been the main topic of conversation for weeks of a New York City summer. Other notables include Ruffing, Rizzuto, Dickey, Combs, Gomez, Crosetti, Henrich, Selkirk, Rolfe, Keller and more. Only McCarthy and Chandler appear in clubhouse format. Signature quality is a consistent 6/10 to 7/10 except for a single panel averaging 4/10 including only Rizzuto from the names listed above. Still a tough and desirable team sphere from one of the most memorable World Championship Yankee incarnations. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
