    1941-50 Chicago Cubs Team Signed Baseballs Lot of 8. Important historical grouping of beloved franchise, missing only the World War II years of 1942-43. 1) 1941: Heavily browned and shellacked ball features 31 fountain pen signatures, including Root, Hack, Herman, Galan, Nicholson, Waitkus and Passeau; 2) 1944: Official Harridge American League ball, with blue fountain pen signatures 5/10 to 7/10, including Foxx, Grimm, Cavarretta, Wyse, Hack, Bush and others; 3) 1945: Official National League Feeny ball, 20 signatures 8/10, including Mayo, Cavaretta, Leonard, Wyse, Passeau and Pafko; 4) 1946: Official National League Frick ball, showing some wear, with 18 fountain pen signatures 7/10 or 8/10, including Pafko, Lowrey, Passeau, Cavarretta, Hack, Grimm, Scheffing and others; others: 5) 1947: Attractive Official National League Frick ball, 25 blue fountain pen signatures 8/10, including Livingston, Stock, Cavarretta, Lotshaw, Johnson and Jurges - LOA from James Spence Authentication; 6) 1948: Official National League Frick ball with 18 signatures 8/10, including Grimm, Culler, Johnson, Mauch, Scheffing, Smalley and Lowrey - LOA from James Spence Authentication; 1949: Official National League Frick ball, with 21 signatures 8/10, including Harry Walker, Lowrey, Burgess, Leonard and Smalley. Ball has "47 Cubs" written in ink, but inclusion of Walker dates it to 1949; 1950: Official National League Frick ball with some wear, with about 20 signatures ranging from barely legible to 8/10, including Pafko, Klippstein, Dusak and Leonard.
