    Description

1940's Pie Traynor Single Signed Baseball. His seventeen seasons of Major League active duty were recorded entirely at the Pittsburgh Pirates' hot corner where Traynor earned a reputation as the top third baseman in the National League. He's one of the tougher targets to hit for collectors of Hall of Fame singles, and this solid mid-grade specimen earns 5/10 ratings for both the sweet spot autograph and the "Crescent League Champion" baseball that serves as its home. Black fountain pen ink provides, "To Daryl With Best Regards, Pie Traynor." Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, EX 5. Please be advised that seals on this ball cube may have been broken for imaging purposes. However, the ball is pictured on the PSA/DNA letter. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
