    Description

1940's Mel Ott Signed Softball. The Hall of Fame Giant's tragic early death in a New Orleans automobile accident has left a supply of available autographs behind that couldn't possibly meet with demand. This is particularly true of single signed baseballs, with Ott easily the toughest of all 500 Home Run Club members. Here we find the single signed baseball's bigger cousin, featuring a proportionally oversized sweet spot signature from Master Melvin. His blue ink registers at a strength of 5/10, and a light abrasion over the surname is of little concern. A unique way to bring this tough signature into your collection. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
