    Description

1940's Jackie Robinson Signed Negro American League Baseball. The most noteworthy African-American ballplayer in the game's history returns to his roots with a spectacular blue ink side panel signature on this official "Negro American League" baseball dating from the era of Jackie's brave transversal of the color line. He is joined by fellow Negro Leaguers Luke Easter and Connie Morgan, as well top Major League talent like Gil Hodges, Ralph Branca, Mickey Vernon and Bob Young. All autographs remain in 9/10 condition, and the ball's pale hide shows just the slightest toning to suggest its age. Only the second Jackie Robinson autograph on a Negro League baseball that we have ever handled, and one of only a theoretical handful that could possibly exist anywhere. LOA from PSA/DNA.
