    1940's Branch Rickey "Single Signed" Baseball. This tough Hall of Famer broke into the Bigs in 1905 as a twenty-two year old catcher for the St. Louis Browns, a team he later skippered before jumping ship to the National League Cardinals for the early half of the 1920's. But Rickey's notoriety, and his Cooperstown credentials, sprung directly from his pioneering front office spirit, highlighted by his advocacy of Jackie Robinson's color barrier crossing in 1947. As such, Rickey's importance to our national pastime cannot be overstated. With Rickey singles almost nonexistent in the hobby, we're pleased to offer the next best thing here, a formerly multi-signed ball with all but Rickey's 7/10 side panel signature professionally removed by "Signed Baseball Magic." The result is an "Official Dodger Ball Branch Rickey" model sphere that could trick even the most cultured collector. The ball remains lightly and evenly toned, perfect for display. A genuine full-fledged single of this quality would absolutely break the bank! LOA from PSA/DNA.
