    Description

1940's Branch Rickey Signed Baseball. Arguably the most important executive in 20th century baseball history, Rickey served as the main catalyst in overturning the great injustice of baseball's ironically termed "Gentleman's Agreement" with his advocacy of Jackie Robinson's Major League enrollment. His attractively rendered 9/10 blue ink side panel signature appears on a non-official ball cleaned of any other autographs that once joined Rickey's. Ball exhibits some scattered foxing well clear of the focal point. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
