    Description

1940's Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. Lou Gehrig may have held the endurance streak for games played, but it was the Babe who maintained an unbroken streak of fulfilling autograph requests. The most famous man in the game was also its most accessible, and here we find yet another piece of evidence, a "Worth Official League" sphere inscribed in 7.5/10 black fountain pen ink on the side panel, "To Tommy From Babe Ruth." Ball is lightly and evenly toned. A rock-solid representation of a hobby essential. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
