1938 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball. An extraordinary compilation of Cooperstown talent paired with phenomenal condition makes this ball a hot commodity on the sports collectibles market. While a small number of autographs derive from other clubs, suggesting possible spring training vintage, all the big Cardinals stars are here, notably Mize, Medwick, Slaughter, Frisch, Paul Dean, Pepper Martin, Owen, Johnson and Bordagaray. Despite his 1938 move to the Cubs, Dizzy Dean is here as well, bringing the Hall of Fame total to five. Twenty-four autographs are here in total, averaging 8/10 in boldness, with no listed name dipping more than two points below that mark. The ONL (Frick) ball is likewise impressive in its condition, clean and unblemished in its original box (missing lid). A rock-solid example of a tough pre-war team ball. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
