    Description

1938 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. This OAL (Harridge) ball represents one of the greatest Yankee dynasties, currently in their third season of a four-year residency as Champions of the baseball world. Stored for decades in a dark, dry place, the ball remains in spectacular condition, with a solid average signature quality of 7/10 on the lightly toned hide. Hall of Fame residents Gehrig and Ruffing share the sweet spot, with Dickey, DiMaggio, Combs, McCarthy (clubhouse), Henrich and Gomez further representing Cooperstown. Twenty-eight autographs in all. A particularly important ball for Gehrig collectors, as this season marked the beginning of the end for the brave and durable superstar. LOA from PSA/DNA.
