1936 Cincinnati Reds & Pittsburgh Pirates Signed Baseball with Wagner, Cuyler. A small notation in an unknown hand dates this ONL (Frick) ball to April 15, 1936, the second game of the season, an eight to six loss for the Crosley Field home team. A sampling of twenty-eight combatants fill all panels in blank fountain pen ink that diverges from a strength of 3/10 to 7/10 only on rare occasion. Falling solidly within that range are such legends as Wagner, Cuyler, Lombardi, Traynor, Kelly, Vaughan and both Waner brothers. Chick Hafey also appears at 2/10. That's nine prewar Hall of Famers! The ball itself remains clear and undamaged, presenting very well for its advanced age and serving as a fitting home for such a regal cast of characters. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
