    Description

1935 American League All-Star Team Signed Baseball. It was just the third Midsummer Classic in history, a dominant performance by the Junior Circuit at Cleveland Stadium that concluded with a four to one tally in its favor. The presented OAL (Harridge) sphere dates to that July 8, 1935 battle, and is signed by nineteen victors including Gehrig (2/10), Ferrell (9/10), Cochrane (9/10), Simmons (8/10), Cronin (9/10), Grove (8/10), Foxx (7/10), Gehringer (9/10) and Gomez (8/10). Some minor surface loss to the leather remains clear of all signatures, as do a few stray spots of staining. A top-tier example of this particularly rare All-Star ball. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
