    Description

1934 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball. By most accounts, this World Championship club earned its "Gashouse Gang" moniker for its habit of reporting to the diamond wearing unwashed, smelly uniforms, and for its rough and tumble tactics that spread fear throughout the National League. But if they presented as paupers, there were still princes among them. This ONL (Heydler) ball has felt the touch of several, notably both Dean brothers, Medwick, Haines (twice) and Vance. Thirteen autographs are here in total, averaging 7/10 in boldness, and the ball shows moderate toning that does not adversely affect the display. Perhaps the most desirable sphere of Depression-era baseball, remembering the greatest National Leaguers of the age. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
