1934 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The fifteenth and final pinstriped season for the iconic Babe Ruth, who properly assumes sweet spot duties on this marvelous memorial to the most consequential era of Yankees history. Travel in any direction from that central focus and you'll encounter legends who join the Babe in Cooperstown bronze: Gehrig, Gomez, Sewell, Ruffing, Lazzeri and McCarthy (CH). Other notables include Crosetti, Rolfe, MacFayden, Chapman, Hoag and Byrd. Twenty-four autographs in total. A vintage coating of shellac has preserved the signatures marvelously, with none dipping below a strength of 7/10, and all but a few at least a point stronger. The "Harwood National League" ball provides wonderful vintage aesthetics with its colorful two-tone stitching, similar in style to the Official balls of the period. Truly the end of an era, in more ways than one. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
