    Description

1934 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Historic sphere represents the final season in the Bronx for the man who defined the franchise. The Babe, who would club his 700th home run and draw his 2,000th walk this season, takes his customary sweet spot position on this "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" sphere in bold 9/10 black fountain pen ink that would elevate the ball to strong five-figures if it were a single. But the Hall of Fame appeal doesn't end with Ruth, as we find Gehrig, Combs, Dickey, Lazzeri, Gomez, Ruffing and Sewell among the twenty-one Yanks joining him. Signature quality ranges from a readily legible 3/10 to 9/10, though the vast majority of autographs rate 6/10 or better. The ball itself is lightly and evenly toned, and presents beautifully. A fitting tribute to the departing legend. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
