Description

1934 Dizzy & Daffy Dean Signed Baseball. Ford Frick's ascendance to the National League presidency in 1935 assures that this ONL (Heydler) sphere could only have been autographed during these fraternal Gashouse Gangsters' glorious World Championship season of 1934, the rookie season for the younger Dean. One can't overstate the importance of Paul and Jerome Dean in the annals of St. Louis Cardinals history, as the pair combined for forty-nine regular season victories in 1934, and all four of the club's Series wins. Given this supreme historic relevance, the outstanding condition of this autographed sphere is practically overkill. Each signature presents with 9+/10 boldness, and the ball itself is wonderfully clean with a gorgeous creamy tone. We simply couldn't imagine a superior specimen. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

    Guide Value or Estimate: $4,000 - $6,000.
