    Description

1934-35 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The absence of Babe Ruth on this red and green stitched baseball suggests a 1935 date, which is bolstered by the presence of Lou Gehrig on the sweet spot. Ordinarily, Gehrig deferred the location to Ruth. In this case the Gehrig signature is a very nice 7.5/10 and displays wonderfully. The remaining panels feature other notables, although displaying at a greater range of 2-8/10. Names include Tony Lazzeri, Bill Dickey, Lefty Gomez, Vito Tamulis, Ben Chapman, Johnny Broaca and a dozen additional. Oddly, all labeling on the ball (three panels) was painted over poorly, affecting a few signatures. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
