1933 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball With Hack Wilson, Casey Stengel & Al Lopez. From the tail end of Hack Wilson's career comes this 1933 ONL (Heydler) Brooklyn Dodgers team signed baseball. He had already set MLB and NL records while with the Chicago Cubs previously, after coming up with the New York Giants, but in 1932 took his bat to Brooklyn. By 1933, however, his hardcore lifestyle was catching up to him and the slugger was on his way to retirement after a few more games in 1934. This vintage baseball has been signed by twenty-three Dodgers, including Wilson sharing the sweet spot with Sam Leslie, signed in 6/10 ink. Other notables include fellow Hall of Famers Casey Stengel (6/10) and Al Lopez (7/10). The remainder of the signatures average between 5-8/10, and the ball has been coated with a neat layer of shellac. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
