    Description

    1932 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. It was the final World Championship season for the Yankees of the Babe Ruth era, and the great Bambino assumes his standard sweet spot position on this fine memento of that memorable season. The "Called Shot" author is joined by twenty-one teammates, eight of whom join him in Cooperstown immortality: Gehrig, Combs, Pennock, Gomez, Sewell, Dickey, Ruffing and Lazzeri. Autograph quality ranges from 2/10 to 8/10 with most on the higher end of that spectrum. All Hall of Famers but Gehrig (2/10) and Sewell (3/10) are quite boldly rendered. Myril Hoag is the lone secretarial signature. OAL (Harridge) ball is clean and evenly toned to a light sepia shade. A solid representation that marks the end of a special era in baseball history.
