1931 Washington Senators Team Signed Baseball with Walter Johnson. The Big Train was serving as conductor of his old squad in 1931, his third season at the helm of the D.C. franchise. He appropriately takes sweet spot honors on the presented OAL (Barnard) sphere, joined by fellow future Hall of Famers Manush, Cronin (4/10) and Rice. Seventeen autographs appear in total, averaging 7/10 or better unless otherwise noted. A solid specimen from a rather effective era for the Senators, who finished thirty games over .500 in 1931. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
