1931 Philadelphia Athletics Team Signed Baseball. It took a special team to wrest the American League pennant from Ruth, Gehrig and the rest of Murderer's Row, and the gentlemen who penned their names to this OAL (Harridge) ball accomplished that feat for the third consecutive time in 1931. One look at the roster offers some explanation for this improbable occurrence: Cochrane, Simmons, Grove, Foxx and Hoyt in the field, and legendary strategist Connie Mack (clubhouse) in the dugout. Each Hall of Famer is in attendance on this OAL (Harridge) ball, along with thirteen fellow teammates from this second great A's dynasty. Signature condition is just outstanding, due in large degree to a coating of shellac which has turned the ball a tobacco shade. An important team ball from a squad that ranks high on the all-time greatest list. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
