    Description

1931 Philadelphia Athletics Team Signed Baseball. A third consecutive American League flag for Connie Mack's powerhouse club, considered by many baseball historians as one of the best in the game's history. A quick look at the autographs on the offered ball lends credence to this theory: Foxx, Cochrane, Simmons, Grove, Collins, Hoyt and Mack himself all call Cooperstown home. Twenty signatures in all range from 3/10 to 8/10, with all entirely complete and legible. Ball is an OAL (Harridge) model, which has mellowed to a creamy, even tone with just a small patch of foxing that only affects Joe Boley's signature.
