    Description

1931 Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig & More Signed Baseball. Spawned by a meeting between the mighty Murderer's Row Yankees and the lowly St. Louis Browns, this OAL (Barnard) ball boasts a mixture of signatures from both squads punctuated by Ruth and Gehrig, who appear with fellow Hall of Famer Joe Sewell together on a side panel for ideal display purposes. More than twenty others join this esteemed trio, Rick Ferrell, Tony Lazzeri and Goose Goslin the most notable, though the bulk of these trend toward the lower end of the condition scale. Thankfully the Ruth and Gehrig are spared the brunt of the wear, presenting at 6/10 and 8/10 respectively. As such, a smart buy for the budget-minded collector looking to bring some essential pre-war signatures into his private holdings. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication. Guide Value or Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
