    Description

1931 Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig & More Multi Signed Baseball. A Spring 1931 meeting between the New York Yankees and the Boston Braves (with whom the Babe would close out his storied career in 1935) spawned the presented autographed sphere, bearing black fountain pen signatures from eleven of the teams's representatives. Enshrined in Cooperstown are Ruth, Gehrig, McCarthy, McKechnie and Maranville, each applied in bold black fountain pen ink but hampered to some degree by the surface wear evident in our catalog and online photography. Other notables include Brandt, Berger, Hayes, Frankhouse, Whitney and Rolfe. An attractive option for the hobbyist looking to bring some iconic names into his collection in a hurry. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
