1930's Multi-Signed Baseball with Lazzeri, Joe DiMaggio. UPDATE: Please note we have learned that this ball reflects the participants in a 1935 contest between Major and minor league players from the Bay Area. We haven't quite been able to crack the code that would explain the unusual concoction of baseball talent that decorates this ONL (Frick) sphere, but perhaps the enterprising baseball historian will enjoy the project. The mystery certainly does nothing to diminish the obvious appeal, particularly in regard to the two Yankees Hall of Famers who anchor the roster. Lazzeri and DiMaggio appear in 7/10 and 6/10 black fountain pen ink respectively, well in line with the balance of the twenty-nine that join them. More notables: Ernie Lombardi, Dick Bartell, Gus Suhr and Cookie Lavagetto. The ball is very lightly and evenly toned, with no flaws of note. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
