    Description

1930's Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. Like a prehistoric insect trapped in amber, one of the boldest black fountain pen signatures you'll ever witness on horsehide peers out from beneath a thick coating of vintage shellac. While we could accuse the original collector of being a bit overzealous with the application, it's evident that the desired effect was met, as the Bambino's sweet spot signature registers at a conservative 9/10. Oddly the factory stamping on the ball did not benefit from the sealant, and thus we are unable to identify the model. On a clean and white Official sphere this autograph would carry value deep into the five-figures. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
