    Description

1930's Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball--An Exquisite Example. A "Babe" so gorgeous it should be dating Derek Jeter, this extraordinarily high-grade specimen is superior to 98% of all known specimens, and likely the best you'll be able to own without going deep into six figures. Ruth's sweet spot signature is applied in the boldest of blue fountain pen ink on the remarkably clean white hide of a "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" ball, a highly-desirable medium.

Clearly decades of storage in its original retail box (included) is the key to the spectacular state of preservation. The search for any condition caveats results in only a couple spots of very minor dye transfer from where the ball came into contact with the box, as there are none of the typical issues of foxing or toning to report. This is an investment-quality relic for the collector who demands only the very best. A few box flaps have become detached, but all are present. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

We have also have become more educated about antiques from HA, an unexpected perk. And we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to HA for a preview auction just to see how it all works.
