    Description

1930's Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Walter Johnson & Others Multi Signed Baseball. This vintage OAL (Harridge) baseball has seen the passage of a good eighty plus years, and as a result, several of the original signatures have faded away. Thankfully, a few of baseball's all time greatest are still very visible on the red and blue stitched orb. Babe Ruth is on a side panel in 3/10 while Walter "Big Train" Johnson is on the sweet spot in 4/10. "The Iron Horse," Lou Gehrig, is a barely readable 1/10, but the looping "G" keys the beholder in immediately as to the signer. A Rogers Hornsby signature is also in the 1/10 category and difficult to spot. The other signer on the ball that is readily readable is Ben Chapman. Baseball is evenly toned with a handful of scuffs but displays well. Overall, a very pleasing baseball for the Ruth or Johnson fan, in particular. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
