    Description

1930 Chicago Cubs Partial Team Signed Baseball with Hack Wilson. During the season in which he posted his still-standing record of 191 runs batted in, Hall of Fame slugger Hack Wilson provided one of the half dozen autographs adorning this ONL (Heydler) sphere. His fellow signers: Hartnett, Grimm, Root, Bush and Heathcote. Wilson, Grimm and Heathcote are strongest at 8/10 to 9/10, with the balance considerably lighter. A fan's period notation reads "Caught Aug. 27, 1930," sealed beneath a full coating of shellac. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. From the Roger Marth Collection.
