1930 Babe Ruth & Connie Mack Signed Baseball. There will always be a special place in our heart for these Christy Walsh blotter balls, this one a gift to a gentleman named "Ross Murphy," whose name is embossed on the black wood base to which the ancient horsehide is affixed. Hall of Fame manager Connie Mack claims the sweet spot here, forcing the Babe from his standard residence to a side panel he shares with Senators catcher Gabby Street. A John McGraw autograph has been deemed secretarial. A coating of shellac has given the ball a caramel tone and preserved the autographs at a 7/10 average. Surface wear affects the Mack autograph but remains clear of the others. OAL (Harridge). Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
