    Description

1929 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. A tough year in the Bronx, as the Yankees would lose not only their three-season ownership of the American League pennant, but also their beloved manager Miller Huggins. Huggins appears here in secretarial format, the only autograph of the twenty-two present that is not the genuine article. The ball is nonetheless packed with Yankee legends, one of the most Hall of Famer-laden team spheres in the hobby. Notable names: Ruth, Gehrig, Lazzeri, Combs, Durocher, Pennock, Dickey, Shawkey, Paschal, Fletcher, Moore, Lary, Koenig. Ruth is among the strongest of the bunch at 4/10, with the average closer to 2/10. Heavy shellac with considerable surface wear. OAL (Barnard). Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
