    Description

1928 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. It's effectively the same roster that established the 1927 Yankees edition as the greatest baseball team of all time, matching its predecessor's feats of a 100+ victory regular season and a four-game World Series sweep. An examination of the autographs on this OAL (Barnard) ball helps in explaining that utter domination: Ruth, Gehrig, Pennock, Hoyt, Combs, Lazzeri, Durocher (3/10) and more. All listed signatures rate 5/10 or better unless otherwise noted. We count twenty signatures in total, ranging from 1/10 to 7/10 beneath a vintage coating of shellac. A thrilling relic from the greatest era of Bronx baseball history. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
